Art at Milagro

Milagro Design Group kicks off their plan to display Art of area artists in their offices at 15 Lewis Street in downtown Hartford with the multi-media work of Jon Eastman.  Utilizing whatever he can find, including pieces from the old Elm Building on Main Street, Jon has been successful creating a variety of interesting pieces.  His work will remain until September 3rd.  Here are a couple of shots:

Sunday Afternoon in Farmington

Joanne Norr's watercolors and collages of butterflies are the feature of the exhibition entitled Flutterings and Images of Transformation at the Stanley Whitman House in Farmington.  A variety of media is used to explore the range from chrysalis to bloom to flight.  The show will remain until August 28th.

Art at the Pump House

There was a nice crowd at the Pump House Gallery in Bushnell Park on Thursday eve to see Gary Jacobs paintings.  An interesting mixture of realism and abstract, I thought.  Nicely done. The show remains through August 26th.  Here are a few pics:
