Saturday night featured an opening at
Farmington Valley Art Center for their Artist-in-Residence,
Elizabeth Uryase. There was lots to see, as Ms Uryase explores a variety of medium trying to create a range of feelings. Large paper cut-outs, over-size block prints mounted on glass windows with wax, and more. The show will remain until June 20th.

On Sunday, an exhibit of Art by the students at the Children's Home of Cromwell, ages 13-18, opened at the First Church of Christ Congregational in downtown West Hartford. None of the artists were at the reception for The Art of Healing, the Healing of Art show, but we hope to get some pictures of the youngsters this week. The exhibition will hang until June 15th.
