While they were doing a salt firing out back, the
Wesleyan Potters of Middletown hosted the opening of a show by member potters who have hand built objects on display. Here are some of the honored artists:

Meanwhile, over at the Art League of New Britain they were celebrating the opening of two shows of abstract and expressive Art: Chaotic States by Laurencia Ciprus and work by Andrew Springman.
