There was lots of Art to see in downtown Hartford for First Thursday. First was the special show at the
Hartford Courant Gallery at the
Wadsworth Atheneum where 16 artists who will participating in next Fall's
Open Studio Weekend displayed work as a sort of kick off. I understand the Art will remain through the weekend. Here are some of the participants.

Over at the Pump House Gallery on the edge of Bushnell Park, we found a lively gathering admiring the paintings by Linn Bae. Linn also had a piece in the Wadsworth show.

At the Hartford Public Library there was a show of ten paintings of Mark Twain done by Tony Koos as a benefit to the Bushnell Park Foundation and Hartford Public Library. The Art remains on display, and for sale, through the end of the month.
