Friday Night Openings

The Broad Street Gallery is showing Jackrabbit, the earthy Art of Jack Reed.  Completing his fellowship at Trinity College, Jack explained how he determines that a tree is dead, yet standing, and how he removes the bark to create his canvas.  Lots of moss was also added to the exhibit to complete the woodsy setting.  The show will hang until ???

The Charter Oak Center is hosting ArtSparks, an exhibition of Art by senior citizens with intellectual disabilities.  When we arrived, most of the artists had already left, so Albert will have to represent them all.
